Hello and welcome to my site, wild woman running. As you can tell from the title, I love running (and all things fitness!), however I want this to be a little different from other fitness sites. Most seem to feature highly toned youngsters with no cellulite. (No disrespect! They work hard for their results and deserve to be proud of them!) Me, I am decidedly middle-aged, with some cellulite, some wrinkles, and some health issues.
I have actually been very active throughout my life and very healthy, but a string of health events a few years back changed many things for me. I stopped working out for almost two years. Now, I am about a year into seriously getting back into shape. It is harder than I thought it would be. Finding really solid information for older women and working out seems to be hard to come by, so I decided to start researching and writing about it.
